The aim of the project was to satisfy the clients desire for a larger, breathable living space for his family. The children's room, which was previously located at the entrance to the ground floor, was moved to the upper floor, thus gaining an open common living space with a kitchen, a dining room and a living room.
We also provided an exit from the kitchen to the terrace. The bedroom is functionally designed and the spacious bathroom contributes to the comfort.
We took into account the clients desire for an industrial look. The existing load-bearing concrete walls have been exposed while some brick walls have been added. Steel carriers and mounting (all prefabricated) stairs complete the design intent.
