The apartment is located in one of the oldest buildings in the center of Koper. It is a combination of old and new, where we tried to preserve its ancient soul and adopt it to modern living.
The bathroom had to be completely renovated and the entrance hall was abolished to expand the living space, but the rooms remained as they were, we just put the new furniture. We also cleared off plaster on the wooden structure, beams and pillars, to make them visible. And some old furniture was integrated, the old walnut closet which is placed in the middle of modern wardrobe. An antique mirror frame on the bathroom micro-topping wall, in guest toilet the antique painted wall remained as it was.
On the floor we put natural oak parquet in large format and clean designed new furniture in oak and soft gray. Also the walls and ceiling we painted soft gray, but maintained its old plaster structure with all irregularities.
The charm of the apartment is a backyard surrounded by stone walls and plants.
