After graduating from the Biotechnical Faculty, Department of Wood Science and Technology, University of Ljubljana in 2003 he also graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana in 2006.

While a student, he joined Forming Studio until cofouding Gaser Arhitekti in 2006.
