When designing the house in Kromberk the location was key. The site is actually risen above Kromberk, in mid-nature, surrounded by nothing but peace and quiet. The closest neighbour lives about 200 metres below which opens up the perfect opportunity to create a family home closely connected to nature but still maintaining a high level of privacy all through the house.

The house is very simple in shape, long and narrow, strictly following the terraced configuration of the site. The south façade opens up to the valley with its floor-to-ceiling windows that, on ground floor, can be opened almost completely to allow easy flow between inner and outer spaces.
