The project was to plan the outdoor kitchen to the existing house and design the interior spaces based on the client’s needs. Their wish was an optical barrier between the kitchen/dining room and the living room.

The house is a T-shaped construction. The main, bigger part is the living area below and sleeping/bathroom spaces above, whilst the smaller part is the garage below and a common room (also a TV room, home office, guest bedroom – based on current needs) above.

The outdoor kitchen is a separate small building just outside the kitchen and dining room. In contrast to the classically shaped and designed main house, this building is made of exposed concrete with a flat roof and timber detailing on the front façade.
